GEN

This one was more of a revamp, a steroid injected badass flavour to it, resulting into one of my best character designs (along with Yuki).

The design:

The inspiration came from many cult icons, such as Ninja Turtles Casey Jones, the Brotherhood power armor from Fallout series, or everybody's favourite badass bounty hunter, Boba Fett. Characters like these, are the badass, lone, laid back ones, we look to, as the true heroes. So redesigning Gen with a new look, was a challenge to think up.

Gen's character is not sparkling clean, he's run down, trashed, and angered. From where you can see the dark slit, with two yellow eyes, really adds in the mystery behind the helmet of Gen. Not going for a skinny look, but more of a Riot response Police outline, combined with a organic/robotic soldier aura, since Gen is a tough guy character. Originally, Gen was going to have one of my weapon designs, possibly a bolt action recoil rifle, but the whole 'energy Ripper' sword came to mind.

The faded blue paint job, shows that Gen has been through countless battles, this goes with his weapons too, a package of home made, ass kicking material. His main sword, is a little homage to Yoshimitsu's cursed blade, if you don't know by now, Yoshimitsu is, and always will be, my favourite Tekken character of them all a little tribute to the insanely cool Space Ninja himself. The scarf is also a little homage to the PlayStation 2 Shinobi games, along with the Ripper name for the sword, which was homage from the Fallout 3/New Vegas games.
